Pleasant location of Family Health Psychiatric & Counseling Center.   Spravato is the newest treatment modality offered for treatment resistant depression and acute suicidal ideation.  In head-to-head studies with an antipsychotic medication prescribed with oral antidepressants, spravato was found to be more effective without risk of side effects such as weight gain, diabetes, and metabolic syndrome, which can increase the risk of heart disease.
